Meats - Hermann worked for the company from about about 1880 (the year he arrived in America) to 1882. - He either worked here at their headquarters and retail market, or at their packing operations on the southwest side of Detroit. Since he lived on the near east side of Detroit at the time, it is more likely he worked at the retail market, particularly since he opened a meat market of his own in 1883. |
